Football. The most popular sport in the world, right? It’s probably because it can be so hilariously entertaining and relatable to life itself. Often, it can feel like we can’t stop scoring goals and next day can feel like we’re losing the World Cup Final. However, they’ll always be someone feeling just like you and, if we’re lucky, they were caught on camera.
1) TRYING ON NEW CLOTHES
It’s an awesome feeling to put on a brand new jacket or shirt and know you look good. It makes wherever you’re going that bit easier. Whether it be work, the gym or just for a quick bite to eat, you know you’ll be serving looks to whoever is lucky enough to see you. It’s the best time to run into someone you know.
2) BEING IN A REALLY WEIRD MOOD
Don’t ask. We don’t know why we’re feeling this way either but sometimes the weirdness overwhelms you and you just can’t hide it. It’s that really good feeling where you can’t explain why, but you’re buzzing. Now there’s nothing left to do but let it out, in a strange dance form.
3) OPENING THE CUPBOARD AND THERE’S NO FOOD
Right. You’ve wandered into the kitchen in search of a tasty snack, open the cupboard door and all you can see is shelf. It’s like there’s been an apocalypse and all the food in the world has been eaten. Who on earth allowed this to happen? Complete disappointment.
4) GETTING BLAMED FOR SOMETHING YOU DIDN’T DO
There’s nothing harder than trying to argue that you didn’t do something. The more we get accused then the more we get annoyed because we ACTUALLY haven’t done it and the more guilty we look. Sometimes you just have to shrug your shoulders and say:
5) WHEN YOU’RE GETTING A TAKEAWAY
“Can we get a takeaway tonight?” is a question usually met with no, or a “we’ve got pizza at home” but this time, it’s different. Grab whoever is closest and celebrate for as long as you can because we all know the wait for delivery feels ten times longer than it actually is.
6) TRYING TO GET OUT OF BED
Alarm bell goes off aaannnnddd that’s the day ruined already. No one enjoys getting up but we all have to do it. There are days when the walk from the bed to breakfast feels impossible. And there are some days where it just becomes a crawl. At least he got there in the end.
7) DROPPING A GREAT JOKE IN THE GROUP CHAT
Is there any greater glory than pressing send on a joke that you know your mates are going to love? That feeling of sheer pride as the laughing face emoji’s roll in and you become the comedy king. This will go down as one of your greatest moments. You just created group chat history.
8) WHEN IT FEELS LIKE NOTHING WILL GO RIGHT
We all have days where it feels like everything we do just won’t go to plan. We try our best but, sometimes, even that isn’t enough. Just dust yourself off, get back up and carry on. Fortunately, this is a marathon; not a sprint and the good days always outweigh the bad. Keep going and you’ll always end up succeeding. Just like this guy who may not have the most conventional way of keeping the ball out but if it works, it works.
9) WHEN ALL YOU NEED IS A HUG FROM A MATE
After you’ve finally gotten out of bed and had a long day at work, it can feel like everything gets too much. You’re tired and all you really want to do is go to sleep, but a good hug from a mate can leaving you feeling so much better. Thanks to these little dudes for showing us how.
