This time of year, everyone seems to be on a mission to change themselves. New year’s resolutions can be pretty toxic though, as everyone looks to lose weight, or push themselves too hard too quickly. So, here’s 25 resolution ideas that will help you to grow in 2021, and not box yourself in a resolution that could have more of a bad impact than a good one. 

  1. Check in on your friends more
  2. Keep a mental health tracker
  3. Spend more time with family
  4. Switch off from social media more
  5. Have a spring clean
  6. Shop for clothes or food more ethically
  7. Exercise in a healthy way
  8. Spend more time in nature
  9. Do some daily meditation or mindfulness exercises
  10. Try out a sleep schedule 
  11. Experiment with a new hobby
  12. Help out the neighbours more
  13. Join a local community or volunteer
  14. Explore your local area more
  15. Support someone who is struggling to fit in
  16. Be more socially or politically active
  17. Help out around the house more
  18. Keep a gratitude journal
  19. Give yourself a break and ease self-pressure
  20. Put out more positive energy, and think more positively
  21. Be more connected to the present moment
